Garden Cleanup at The Hermitage

The New Jersey State Park Service is collaborating with the AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassadors to clean up The Hermitage State Park’s many gardens and prepare them for spring! Help them out by clearing debris, removing invasive/nuisance plant species, and cleaning up litter. You’ll also be able to learn some New Jersey history from professionals!

Dress with sturdy clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty. Work gloves and tools will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Parking will be available in the lot by the visitor’s center.
